On October the 6th our partner Prima Electro will participate in the European Technology Platform on Smart Systems Integration (EPoSS) that will hold its 2022 Annual Forum in Turin, Italy. EPoSS is an industry-driven policy initiative, defining R&D and innovation needs as well as policy requirements related to Smart Systems Integration and integrated Micro- and Nanosystems. It brings together European private and public stakeholders to create an enduring basis for structuring initiatives, co-ordinating and bundling efforts, for setting up sustainable structures of a European Research Area on Smart Systems Integration.

On this occasion, Prima Electro will present its experience in the iQonic project and the impact that technological solutions generated thanks to the project had in the Prima Electro-Convergent site. Specifically, the focus will be on how Prima Electro improved the cycle time with the use of an AI-based tool able to predict the goodness of the process and an optimal organization of the process with a Reverse Supply Chain, and how recycling and reconfiguration strategies improved production efficiency in term of cost. Furthermore, the variability of the final product has been reduced with Cyber-Physical System able to optimally select the material to be assembled.
