On May 22nd-23rd iQonic partners came together in Milan for the 2nd General Assembly of the iQonic project.
The event, hosted by the Politecnico in Milan, aimed at assessing iQonic’s achievements and confirmed the good development of the project activities.
In the last months, partners have been working jointly to define user requirements and the state of the art on processes and technologies available for optoelectronic manufacturing and to design the project pilot use cases and iQonic architecture. These accomplishments are paving the way for the forthcoming activities, aiming notably at designing an opto-electrical system for assembly and disassembly and at defining the IQONIC sensorial network and the strategies for the defect life-cycle management, the disassembly and the requalification of components.
The meeting proved to be an example of cooperation and fruitful exchanges among partners, which had the opportunity to engage in open discussions during the workshop activities and the lab-tour at the POLIMI facility.
